A modest list of thank yous

I wanted to take some time to give some thanks to everyone who helped make this release a possibility. It took a lot of years of hard work and frustration to make this debut release a possibility, so I wanted to address everyone who supported me along the way.

My mom & dad – Both of whom have supported me without question in my musical endeavors. Thanks for helping me get through these stupid and crazy years while I try to finish my education. Putting out this release wouldn’t have been possible without either of your support. And my mother deserves a special note, because she can’t stand my style of music, yet has still stood behind it every step of the way.

My brother Sebastian – All the beautiful graphic design work you see here is his doing. Thanks for helping me build this up and bring to life what I couldn’t.

Bobby Miller – One of my oldest friends who has had my back both personally and musically for years. Also thanks for whoring out the EP to all your friends.

Other friends who helped by listening to the EP and giving their input along the way: Lauren, Sam S., Sam M., Jon, Justin of The Zenith Passage, and many others…

Also I’d like to mention my old friend Seth Payares who is no longer with us.  Thanks for being a part of my life for the time you were here, and being an inspiration to keep pursuing my musical dreams.

I’m sure there has to be at least a few people I forgot, so if I did, a big thank you to you as well!

The Emancipation of Dissonance to be released on 10/29/13

Hello friends and fans, it has been quite a long time. However, after a few years of frustration and stress, I’m excited to say that something big is finally happening.

On 10/29/13, Event Horizon will be releasing our debut EP, The Emancipation of Dissonance. We’ve included album artwork below, and after all the hard work we’ve put into it, we can safely say it is one of the best damn metal albums ever.

Of course, the album will feature the guitar work of Max Sindermann as well as the very talented vocalist Brandon “Voidspawn” Leigh.

More information and teasers on the way!
